Santa’s Sleigh Has Got A Problem!!

Santa’s reindeers have had problems landing and taking off with his sleigh this Christmas. Santa has written to us to hoping that we can help understand this problem. We have been investigating what affects friction.

Sycamore Class 12th October 2018

We have been designing and colouring in our Christmas cards which is going to help raise money for the school.

We have been doing a lot of skipping and we have all improved, especially our personal records. Some of us can do criss-cross, jump into a skipping rope and skip with two people in a skipping rope. We look forward to showing you at our termly celebration for parents on Wednesday 17th October in the hall during the afternoon.

Wantage Vale and Downland Museum Trip

We have worked with charcoal which was very messy but it was really fun. When we went to Wantage museum and we learnt about the Wantage tram system; how to make pills at a Victorian apothecary; what it was like in a Victorian kitchen and learning about the differences between the rich and poor.
